Details:
A historical event as Palomar College celebrates the opening of its first-ever football stadium. In the 78-year history of Palomar College, the Comet Football team has played their “home” games at local high schools. Dr. Star Rivera-Lacey, Superintendent/President of the Palomar Community College District, will preside over the celebration.
Dr. Rivera-Lacey will be joined by Governing Board President Roberto Rodriguez, Palomar College Athletics Director Dan Lynds and Governing Board Student Trustee Reagan Barham, as the official opening takes place. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the 3,600 seat, state-of-the-art stadium.
Approximately 200 administrators, professional staff, faculty and community leaders are expected to attend the ceremony.
