Palomar College presents its annual commencement exercises on Friday, May 26, at 5:00 p.m. on the football practice field at the college’s main campus in San Marcos. Dr. Star Rivera-Lacey, Superintendent/President of the Palomar Community College District, will preside over the ceremony.

This year’s keynote speaker will be the 2021-22 Distinguished Faculty Member, Travis Ritt, Ph.D, who teaches history at Palomar. The college’s Alumnus of the Year, Nick Casas, will also speak to the 2023 graduating class. Mr. Casas, a highly successful professional with over 20 years of business development experience has been instrumental in helping Palomar College with the EV charging infrastructure needed to launch a Zero Emissions Vehicle Technologies program at Palomar College in Fall 2023.

Approximately 400 students are expected to participate in the ceremony, with a total number of 4,000 degrees and certificates approved in the 2022-23 academic year. Families and friends are welcome to attend the ceremony.
Parking:
Free parking will be available in Lots 1 and 2 off of Mission Road and in the parking structure which accessible off of Avenida Azul.
