At 9:56 a.m., a suspect was taken into custody in Banning, California for the shooting on Tide Court. The suspect’s name and information will be released after further investigation can be completed as the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting is ongoing.
NEWS FROM THE CITY OF CARLSBAD POLICE DEPARTMENT
CARLSBAD Calif. – On March 10, the City of Carlsbad Police Department received two calls for service to the same address in the 900 block of Tide Court. The first at 3:04 a.m. Officers responded to a report of drugs and a party at the Tide Court address.
The second call came in at 3:47 a.m., while officers were outside the address. A delayed call for service reporting the sound of gunshots fired at the same address.
Arriving officers entered, cleared the residence and found what looked to be bullet holes in the walls of the unit.
Further investigation found a 33-year-old Hispanic male had been dropped off at a local hospital with gunshot wounds.
The investigation into what occurred at the residence and who is responsible is in its initial stages.
