On October 15th, Police Athletic League (PAL) held a fundraiser at St. Petka Church. PAL was surprised with the CA Assembly Certificate of Recognition from CA Assembly Woman, Marie Waldron. Chief Ed Varso and Retired Lieutenant Al Owens accepted the award. Generous donors from our community and a super donor from Northern CA made this PAL’s most successful fundraiser.
PAL raised just over $134,000. The money will be used to support the youth programs in our community. Deputy Mayor Mike Morasco and Councilmembers Tina Inscoe and Joe Garcia attended the event.
