Join etching-printmaker, Oliver Dewey-Gartner of Gemini G.E.L Los Angeles, for his lecture Timeless Techniques of the Multiple.
Learn about the various techniques of printmaking used by Edgar Degas and how those processes continue to inform and inspire contemporary artists.
This program is presented in conjunction with the Museum’s summer exhibition, Edgar Degas: The Private Impressionist, Works on Paper by the Artist and his Circle. Explore works on paper by French artist, Edgar Degas and his circle of friends. Artists on exhibition include Mary Cassatt, Paul Cézanne, Camille Pissarro, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and more. This exhibition is on view through September 15th, 2019.
