QR Code for Downtown Vista Events

There is a new website for Discover Vista. It is funded by the Central Vista Business Improvement District (CVBID). One of its primary functions is the Events Calendar. When fully implemented it will give you every event happening in the bid area (map below). It covers events of all kinds with beer specials, food, tire repair, yoga classes, etc.

The best part about the program is the businesses can post an event or a price discount at no cost to them HERE.

QR CODE signs will start appearing in the windows of businesses in the BID. While visiting Downtown, scan the code and see what their specials are or what’s happening as you visit and shop.
85% of users will be using their phones. Add it to your home screen and be able to check it at any time.

The Central Vista Business Improvement District (CVBID) is an area in downtown Vista in which business owners pay an assessment fee that goes towards programs, events and marketing to attract people to Downtown Vista. The activities of the CVBID are overseen by the CVBID Advisory Board, seven business owners appointed by City Council. Administration of the CVBID is overseen by City staff.
