Local animal rescue organization, Saving Pets One at a Time (SPOT), will be onsite from 10 a.m. to noon with adoptable dogs and cats looking for a home, weather permitting. In the afternoon, there will be balloon animals, face painting and an appearance from the local Mission Hills High School Cheer Team. Raising Cane’s will also present a donation to both organizations.

“As a San Diego local, I couldn’t be more excited to spread our ONE LOVE® in the vibrant San Marcos Community,” said Area Leader of Restaurants Mark Condello. “With miles of trails in the local hills and close proximity to the beach, it’s no wonder why San Marcos is experiencing rapid growth, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it all. We’re committed to partnering with our local Communities and have recently joined forces with the San Marcos Farmers Market, LSU Alumni of San Diego Crawfish Boil and San Marcos Promise Summer Skillshop. We look forward to getting even more involved in the months and years to come.”

Cane’s is still seeking enthusiastic individuals to join its San Marcos Crew. Interested candidates should apply at WorkAtCanes.com. Applicants will be contacted to set up an interview after applying.

San Marcos’ new Raising Cane’s will serve Customers through its mobile app, takeout, dine-in, double drive-thru and on its patio. Open Sunday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 a.m., Raising Cane’s will be the perfect destination for lunch, dinner and late-night dining alike. When San Marcos’ first Cane’s opens, it will mark the fourth in San Diego County and 43rd in California.
