Deputies of the San Marcos Sheriff’s Station conducted a driving under the influence and driver’s license checkpoint on August 24, 2018 in the 100 block of W. Mission Road, in the city of San Marcos.

In addition, there were 10 vehicles impounded for driving on a suspended driver’s license and unlicensed drivers. There were 15 citations issued for various violations including driving on a suspended license, driving without ever being licensed and allowing an unlicensed driver to drive a vehicle.
