San Diego North County Warrant Sweep

The operation covered the cities of Vista, San Marcos, and Escondido.

On September 28 2019 at about 6:00 AM, Units with the San Diego Court Services Bureau, Vista Field Office, City of San Marcos, Rail Enforcement Team, and City of Vista Commands, conducted a warrant sweep in the north county area. The operation consisted of several teams with their primary mission to focus on unserved, outstanding misdemeanor and felony warrants. The operation covered the cities of Vista, San Marcos, and Escondido. There were also units in the unincorporated areas of Vista, San Marcos and Escondido in north county. The warrant sweep concluded at about 3:00 PM.

The result of the operation netted 41 misdemeanor arrests and 2 felony arrests with 43 warrants being cleared

The operation was funded in part by the Sheriff’s Warrant System Automation Trust Fund.
The San Diego Sheriff’s Department will continue its efforts in the apprehension of wanted subjects. Persons who have outstanding warrants are encouraged to turn themselves in Monday-Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm at any one of the Sheriff’s Court Facilities.
