San Diego Scottish Highland Games
Highland games started in Scotland as a way to celebrate during times of peace, and clansmen would gather to feast together, dance, and show off their skills in running, wrestling, and other sports. This event brings traditional Scottish celebrations to the San Diego community, and includes athletic games, bagpipe playing, live music from artists such as Wicked Tinkers and Highland Way, as well as Highland dancing and even sheepdog trials.
