SYNOPSIS:
Be on the lookout for a missing teen from Vista. Abbey Motzer was last seen on December 11th leaving her home in the 1500 block of South Melrose Drive. She has autism and functions at a high level. She left her home without a cell phone or money. She has a history of running away. She may attempt to hide from law enforcement. Abbey was last seen wearing a dark blue t-shirt with rainbow stripes and dark blue jeans.
Detectives have searched areas around Abbey’s home, places she is known to frequent, as well as hospitals to make sure she was not admitted. This public notification is meant to expand the search countywide in case anyone encounters Abbey.
