Paving from Lupine Drive to Bent Avenue (Thursday, Aug. 17): Shea Homes will be paving Craven Road from Lupine Drive to Discovery Street on Thursday, Aug. 17. Additional traffic control will be in place, but all traffic patterns are expected to be maintained. In advance of the paving operation, the stop signs at the intersection of Craven Road and Discovery Street will be removed and the traffic signal at the intersection of Discovery and Craven will be activated on Wednesday, Aug. 16. The signal will be set to “flash operation”, so the intersection will continue to function as an all-way stop.
Businesses open during construction: We highly encourage you to show your support for the wonderful San Marcos businesses surrounding the Creek project area, including those at the Galleria Vera Cruz (1001-1003 W San Marcos Blvd.) and Via Marco Plaza (997 W San Marcos Blvd.) shopping centers.
