Upcoming morning work: Tomorrow morning, and Thursday morning, at approximately 3 a.m., crews will begin final paving activities on Bent Avenue bridge. The work must be completed in the early morning to ensure temperatures are cool enough for the pavement to seal. We apologize for the inconvenience of the early work.
Currently, Bent Avenue is scheduled to reopen as soon as Wednesday, May 18 (subject to change) after a temporary closure of the Craven Road/Discovery intersection from Monday, May 16 through Wednesday, May 18. This closure is to update traffic detours in the area for use once Bent Avenue is reopened to thru traffic.
Discovery Street Closure: Scheduled to begin Monday, May 16, access to Discovery Street will be limited to local residents only as Discovery street will have no connection to Craven Road and Bent Avenue. This closure is needed to install necessary detours for the next phase of the project and is expected to be completed by the end of the week.
