On Friday, May 7th, construction work is scheduled at Lakeview Park by Foxhall Drive and Buckhorn Avenue to accommodate construction of power pole replacement by San Diego Gas & Electric. Work will take place Friday, May 7 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Traffic control will be implemented to close Lakeview Park and all trails leading to the park. PAR Electric, the contractor, is anticipated to post park closure signs as early as Monday, May 3. Delays in the schedule may occur due to inclement weather conditions or other unforeseen conditions.
All pedestrian and parking lot traffic will be closed in Lakeview Park including all adjacent trails. All pedestrians and hikers are encouraged to use alternate routes and/or schedule early to get to destinations on time. Flaggers with posted signs will be present to prevent entrance into the Park during construction.
