How can YOU make your Workplace, School, Church and Community safer?

In today’s changing world and current climate of uncertainty, it is more important than ever that we all do our part to ensure our safety and that of those around us.

This four-session seminar has been designed to teach you what to “SEE” and what to “SAY” if confronted with a potential threat. It caters to individuals who are most impacted by these events, but they typically lack the training to recognize or avert a potential threat before it happens.

Topics of this seminar include:
The Art and Science of Visual Intelligence – retraining the brain to look in detail at scenes to become more aware of the information observed and then describe the scene accurately and objectively
Universal Non-Verbal Human Behavior and Predictive Analytics – learning about body language and how it can forecast what someone is intending to do or even their thoughts
Various Channels of Human Communication – evaluating each of the channels we as humans communicate and showing what kind of information each channel provides
Increasing your General Situational Awareness – in business environments, schools and at concerts, public events or traveling

Each of the 4 sessions is scheduled Monday evenings and is taught by a retired U.S. Marine Corp officer who then earned his masters degree in Anti-terrorism and Homeland Security from SDSU. His company provides training around the world to international security professionals. Guest speakers will include a clinical psychologist and a law enforcement officer.

Seminar dates are Mondays September 10, 17, 24 and October 1
The cost of $50 per person for Oceanside Chamber Members and $75 for Non-members, includes admission to all 4 sessions.

Each Two-hour session is interactive and informative
