The Sheriff’s Department is working to get unwanted guns off our streets. Guns may be turned in with no questions asked on Sunday, Dec. 10, from 9 am until 2 pm at the North County Regional Center, 325 S. Melrose Drive, Vista. The Sheriff’s Department is offering gift cards between $100-$200. All weapons that are collected will be destroyed. Free gun cable locks and security boxes are also available while supplies last.
