South Santa Fe Avenue Construction & Detours

The City’s contractor, PAL Construction is working on the final phase of construction to complete the roundabout improvements at the intersection of S. Santa Fe Avenue & Pala Vista Drive. The work is expected to take about four months. A portion of the project will require closure of northbound traffic lanes on S. Santa Fe Avenue between Civic Center Drive and Pala Vista Drive for a period of 6-8 weeks to relocate an existing water line and to complete the road reconfiguration at the roundabout (beginning February 7, 2022). Once the roadway improvements are completed in the detour, the road will reopen, with only intermittent closures necessary. Civic Center Drive has been designated as a detour for northbound through traffic.
