Or how about a basket of cherries? It is peak season for stone fruits in Southern California, and there’s no better day to pick some up at the State Street Farmers Market. Starting at 2:30pm every Wednesday, through 7:00pm, the heart of Carlsbad Village turns into an open air grocery store with fresh, delicious produce, artisan specialties, and incredible hot-food-to-go.
