Brigitte has a true passion for advancing our children and youth in their development in social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills. When people are asked to describe Brigitte, they often say she is a visionary who practices transformational leadership. Brigitte see’s things as they are, but can envision things the way it should or could be. She is able to translate this vision into an action plan that focuses on doing what is best for our children. With this strong belief system for supporting today’s youth, Brigitte focuses on advancing the mission and vision of the Boys & Girls Club of Vista by being the Vice President of Curriculum and Impact. She began her career as an infant/toddler, preschool, and prekindergarten teacher after getting a B.S. in child development. Then, she became the Director of a small church school and earned her M.A. in nonprofit management. After earning her Masters, she became the Director for the Del Mar Union School District Early Childhood Programs and obtained a coaching certificate. Brigitte is now in her Ph.D. in Leadership Studies at the University of San Diego and is eager to continue her support in the community by providing a quality educational enriched program.
