The first of several temporary public art pieces was unveiled during the opening hours of Art in the Village Sunday, August 11th. Adjacent to the iconic fountain at the corner of Grand Avenue and State Street, the oversized, Adirondack-style beach chair was installed for the public’s enjoyment. The vibrant-colored beach chair was painted by local artist, Ron Juncal. Being oversized, two to three people can comfortably fit for a perfect selfie. So, next time you visit the Village for lunch or a night out at the theatre, be sure to stop by the beach chair for a one-of-a-kind photo!
