Escondido, CA- The Bridges 2e Center for Research and Professional Development recognized The Classical Academies Chief Executive Officer Cameron Curry as one of the Top 22 People to Watch at the Heart of the E2 Movement. The Center’s primary goals are to create awareness, offer professional development, provide outreach, and generate projects that will improve services for the special population of children known as twice-exceptional (2e).

Due to Curry’s inspiring vision, the Classical Academies has grown into an organization of seven charter schools that offer an extraordinary educational experience by blending the freedom of independent study with the best of the traditional classroom environment. Options range from full-time independent study programs to blended in-seat and independent study programs. Through its strong partnership with parents, this hybrid is uniquely designed to provide a personalized education that gives students the flexibility to explore their interests while accommodating their learning differences.

“Cameron’s passion for providing an educational environment that nurtures each student’s unique abilities has made the Classical Academies what it is today,” stated Classical Academy parent Amanda Byzak. “Twice-exceptional students receive a level of support unparalleled anywhere else in the county. The blended independent study program creates the flexibility necessary to customize a program that is strength-based and focused on each child’s individual talents.”

“I am honored to be recognized by The Bridges 2e Center for Research and Professional Development,” stated Curry, “my team of professional educators is passionate about partnering with parents for student success. Each of our students is so fortunate to be attending programs where adults care so deeply about their health, well-being, and academic success.”
