Full closure for the Inland Rail Trail from Pacific Street to Cherimoya Drive has been scheduled beginning on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. This work has been scheduled to accommodate pavement repairs. The trail closure is anticipated for about two (2) months to finish the restoration. Work hours shall start at 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
SANDAG has contracted Sierra Pacific West to do pavement restoration at various locations along the one-mile trail due to necessary repairs.
Please note that delays in the schedule may occur due to inclement weather conditions.
Trail delays are anticipated and users are encouraged to use alternate routes during the work period. Standard traffic control measures with advanced warning signs and pedestrian detours may be in place.
