Tri-City Celebrates Heart Health Awareness Month

Tri-City Medical Center is the Heart of North County in Vista, California. On Friday February 2, 2018, the center celebrated Heart Health Awareness Month and supported Go Red For Women by participating in National Wear Red Day®. The Staff was encouraged to wear red and they all gathered together in front of the hospital to take a group photo with Ticker.

The Medical Center recently created a walking path around the hospital grounds. When you walk two laps on the path it is equal to one mile. After the walk, there was a Free Lunch and Learn, which finished off the morning by joining Director of Cardiac Rehab of Tri-City Medical Center, Dr. Karim El-Sherief, for a healthy lunch while learning about what you can do to live a heart healthy lifestyle.
