Upon arriving at the City of Vista parking lot today, Oct 28, 2021, you would be surprised if you could find a parking place. The winter afternoon was still sunny and a very warm 75 degrees at 4 – 6pm. The sun was setting and sunglasses were necessary. There were children, grandparents, families and dogs with costumes galore as they enjoyed the fire engines, squad cars and booth displays.
The kids loved sitting in the front seat of the fire truck, imagining taking it for a drive someday. There was a lot of goodies and candy as everyone stood in line to meet the Fire Department personnel and Sheriff Deputy’s. Craft kits and goodies were a big hit.
Almost everyone had a costume on and the little ones were just enjoying other costumes too. Cameras and phones were taking shots everywhere, and so many dogs received treats and had costumes on too.
Thank you City of Vista for putting on a huge fun event to make all the kids and parents smile. Have a Safe and Happy Halloween this Sunday October 31st.
