The Department of Defence Education Agency(DoDea) has awarded OUSD a two-million-dollar grant for three years to support the teaching of World Languages to military connected students and the teachers who serve them. This grant will enable OUSD to provide professional learning opportunities for teachers, coaching cultural experiences, and material support. OUSD can use this money at all schools that have a targeted percentage of military connected students. The focus schools include, OHS, our base schools, Pablo Tac School of the Arts, Foussat, and Chavez.
