PAINT IT FORWARD – AWARD A HERO
What Is Paint-It-Forward? Across America, Painting Contractors are joining together to give back to their local communities. The Paint-it-Forward campaign began 10 years ago after ALLBRiGHT Painting participated in ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover. It was so inspirational that they decided to start Paint-It-Forward. Since that time, Paint-It-Forward and similar paint charity programs have been adopted by other painting contractors across the United States and Canada – it has truly grown into a movement!
How Paint-It-Forward Works. This year PacWest Painting and Construction in San Marcos became San Diego’s first contractor to join in. The local community nominated first-responder families, veterans or nonprofit organizations supporting first-responders. Nominations were received December 14th, and the winner was chosen.
As a way to honor these heroes and Pay it Forward in Color, PacWest Painting and Construction will be providing $10,000 of supplies and services to Us4Warriors, an awesome non-profit who supports our veterans.
The PacWest employees (and even some family members) will volunteer their time in early to mid-February to provide a fresh paint job to Us4Warriors new headquarters.

Us4Warriors is a 100% volunteer 501C3 non-profit foundation dedicated to helping veterans, active duty military, and their families to overcome hardships and improve their ability to contribute their unique experiences, training, and leadership skills to society.
What makes us different?
1.We help 100% of warriors and their families, and not just one select group or condition.
2.Our directors are veterans, and we are not compensated.
3.We operate lean and impactful ensuring the funds go where they are needed most.
4.We don’t just “give fish” to veterans and only “feed them for a day,” we offer or fund programs to empower veterans to “fish for themselves” and become leaders who can contribute to our society
Our hundreds of volunteers have helped veterans find jobs, get trained, launch or grow businesses, and get home for the holidays to be with ailing parents. Thanks to your support, wounded veterans got qualified for the Paralympics, hundreds of families were fed, disabled veterans got around town, veterans homes were renovated, veterans centers were maintained, and families who had fallen on hard times got a hand up during the holidays. These are just a few of the amazing things our volunteers have accomplished.
Us4Warriors focuses on the “whole veteran” and fills in the gaps to help ease challenges, connect veterans with communities and businesses, and empower leadership through our 5-Star Programs.
With your help, we can fulfill our mission in many ways, but the key to success is a core understanding that our Foundation is a body with many parts that work together to support our mission. With your kind support, we can continue to accomplish our goal to empower veterans, past and present, to become better leaders of their own lives and within their communities.
