Various streets citywide will undergo a makeover during the next several months. The City of Vista’s $3.5 million Capital Improvement Project investment will make significant improvements to streets, sidewalks, curbs and gutters by refurbishing or rebuilding the roads. The road improvement project are expected to begin later in September and should reach completion in December. The City needs to maintain existing facilities and its infrastructure, such as roads, sewer systems, and parks on a regular basis, in order to keep the city in safe working order. Well-maintained infrastructure will lead to a better running city and safer travel for the people using the roads. The City and its contractors will strive to minimize noise and traffic impacts sometimes associated with these projects.
