On Monday August 7th, the Vista Fire Fighter’s Association held their Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Through the support of local businesses such as Watkins Wellness, Henebery Spirits, Coldwell Banker of Vista as well as many others and with a turnout of over 120 golfers, the Vista Fire Fighter’s Association was able to raise $13,500 for Tomo Harrington. Tomo is the son of North County Fire Department Engineer Tom Harrington.
The Harrington Family was recently given devastating news when Tomo was diagnosed with a rare kidney cancer known as Wilms’ Tumor. To help the Harrington family during the many surgeries and chemotherapy sessions in which Tomo has had to endure, and with the long road to recovery ahead of him, the Vista Fire Fighter’s Association is proud to support Tomo and the Harrington Family.
