It has become a tradition that the Vista Fire Fighters and the San Diego County Sheriff’s-Vista looks forward to distributing toys to the Boys & Girls Club Vista and families that can use a hand up. The fire department collects gifts from the firefighters and residents of Vista then they are dropped off at Station #6. It is also a tradition that city councilmembers join in the fun. This year, Deputy Mayor Joe Green and Councilmember Corinna Contreras participated. The Vista Unified School District helped identify the families that would receive this years gifts.
