With over 1800 students in the Vista Unified School District who are hungry, homeless or both, VTO provides easy access on campus food pantries filled with food and hygiene kits to any student in need.
Each Thanksgiving meal boxes are distributed to 200 VUSD students and their families on November 17th. We are so thankful for the monetary and food donations that have been pouring in from our community. All of you are making a HUGE difference in the lives of children. We are accepting Thanksgiving food items until October 31, so keep them coming!
When you head to the grocery store don’t forget to print out a copy of our Thanksgiving food list and add a few items. Every little bit helps and you can drop off at any of our community drop off locations until October 31.
Here is a list of our suggested donation items:
