The Softball Field Lighting System at Brengle Terrace Park is in need of replacement due to the age and normal wear-and-tear of the current system, which was originally installed in 1983. The work for this Project consists of procurement and installation of materials and equipment for a fully functional and operational Light-Structure System in both (2) softball fields lit to
30/20/20 footcandles and installed per the contract scope of work.
The Public Works Facilities Division exclusively uses Musco Sports Lighting, LLC (“Musco”) city-wide for the monitoring, testing, ON/OFF scheduling, and repairs of all playing fields, basketball and tennis court lighting due to the equipment being proprietary. With proprietary equipment, Musco is the only company that will monitor, test, repair and provide ON/OFF scheduling for the City’s sports lighting.
