Each year the Economic Development Department of the City of Vista and the Vista Chamber of Commerce, join together to visit the Vista Business Park companies in an effort to gain an understanding of the issues facing them today, called the Vista CARE’s (Communicate. Assist. Retain. Expand) Business Walk. Volunteers met at the Vista Hyatt Place at 8:00 am and were given instructions from Kevin Ham and Michael Luna with the City Economic Development Department, on what questions to ask and how they should approach the businesses.

This year the goal was to reach 100 businesses. There were 24 two person teams. The teams were made up of business leaders, City leaders and residents of Vista. There are approximately 800 businesses in the Business Park.
“This is a great opportunity for businesses to communicate directly with the City Officials and the Chamber on the most important issues facing them in todays’ business world,” said Economic Development Director, Kevin Ham.
Mayor Judy Ritter will announce the summary of the surveys during the State of the City, scheduled for January 22, 2018.
