West Coast Fiber Arts Exhibition opens this month with the unveiling of the large scale public mural ” Escondido, the Hidden Valley” by artist Daniel Hernandez on September 13, 4:30-6pm. Join in on the fun and meet the artists at the Opening Reception during Second Saturday Artwalk September 14. Awards for the Members Only Show and the West Coast Fiber Arts will be announced at the reception. Concurrent
exhibitions include a new “Mini” Mingei International Museum Exhibit of traditional Huichol bead and yarn art. The Artist’s Eye with the PhotoArts Group, in Expressions I Designing Weavers: #woventexture, in Expressions Gallery II Karen Williams mineral abstracts on canvas in her first solo exhibition. Gallery Too features Linda Doll, Susan Salazar, Carol Mansfield and Lisa Bryson. Renee Richetts’ space has Nimrod ! In the artist studios and hall walls are Virginia Cole, Daniel Hernandez, Bettina Heinz, Woody Woodaman
and The Rescue Society for Orphaned Art silent auction to benefit EAP programs, A full house of art…
