During the month of April, the City of Carlsbad was able to complete a much-needed repair project on State Street in record time. Other construction projects are also making great headway during these difficult times such as the highly creative State Street Commons by Fabric Investments. Repurposing the original structure of the antique mall and Quonset hut on north State Street, that has been a fixture in the Village for decades, this project will bring us something new while maintaining the integrity of the area’s past. The State Street Commons will be the home to a cafe, retail, a restaurant, and the largest office space accommodations in the Village.
