Carlsbad Unified School District (CUSD) in collaboration with the Carlsbad Boys and Girls Clubs of Carlsbad Village Branch will be hosting its 15th annual “Mini March Madness” Basketball Tournament.
The Tournament will take place on Thursday, March 30, 2023 starting at 2:00 pm at Poinsettia School, 2445 Mica Road in Carlsbad. This is an opportunity for the community to support students and cheer for the players in the District in an active, positive environment. This event displays a great partnership between Carlsbad Unified School District and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Carlsbad. The teams are comprised of 5th grade boys and girls teams from all nine elementary schools in the Carlsbad Unified School District; Aviara Oaks, Buena Vista, Calavera Hills, Hope, Jefferson, Kelly, Magnolia, Pacific Rim, and Poinsettia.
Come support the students representing their school! Tournament starts at 2pm with the trophy ceremony being presented to the winning schools approximately at 4:40pm.
