Bonsall, CA …The 2021 North County Celtic Queen Pageant Coronation was held Saturday, September 12, 2020 as a Family only, masked and socially distanced “drive through” event. The North County Celtic Queen Pageant and Scholarship Fund is a local non-for-profit 501c3 Organization, that promotes community service and mentorship. The pageant is the featured fundraiser for a local charity partner. Our annual charity of choice is the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary.
We also held a virtual “People’s Choice” award contest to benefit the Sanctuary, where the donors cast $1 a vote for their favorite contestant. The People’s Choice Award Winner is North County Celtic Queen Ambassador, Miss Cheyenne Laurance. The Contestants also promoted our “Pageanting with Purpose” program, asking that Families and Contestants bring a donation item for the animals. At the end of the evening the response was overwhelming and the Ladies collected over 300 pounds of donation items and $441.00 in vote donations, that was presented to the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary on Friday, September 18, 2020.
