Wine, Food, and Craft Beer…. something for everyone!
No entrance ticket needed, open to the public, no birthday gifts… just come ready to have some casual artsy fun and contribute to a good cause!
The fundraiser is for a cause close to Katherine’s heart… the North County Food Bank’s Food 4 Kids Backpack Program provides 2,600 elementary school students living in poverty at 52 schools throughout San Diego County with weekend backpacks of nutritious food. These students receive free and reduced-priced meals at school but face hunger at home over the weekend and during school breaks when school meals are unavailable.
Four local artists are creating their art on the actual F4KBP backpacks for a special auction.
Backpack Auction Artists:
Carol Rogers – Local artist and COE of Stone and Glass
Suzanne Nicolaisen – Local artist and board member at the Escondido Art Association
Chrisanne Moats – Local artist and Executive Director of the Escondido Arts Partnership–Municipal Gallery
Alysha Stehly – Crafter and Winemaker for Stehleon Vineyards.
We would love for you to buy tickets for a chance to win your favorite artsy backpack.
All auction proceeds and a percentage of my art sold will go to the Food 4 Kids Backpack program.
