Studies are currently underway at a UC San Diego research laboratory, focusing on blood cancers and regenerative medicine under the direction of Dr. Leslie Crews. This has been and continues to be a challenging year for charitable causes, as many of these studies rely on grants and fundraisers to raise money to support ongoing research. Innovative technologies and precision-medicine research will enhance the ability to find ways to control or cure diseases like multiple myeloma.
