OCEANSIDE, CA — On Friday, January 30, 2026, at approximately 7:40 p.m., officers with the Oceanside Police Department responded to the area of Douglas Drive and Pala Road regarding a reported traffic collision.
Upon arrival, officers determined that a 13-year-old female Oceanside resident had been struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. The victim was transported by air ambulance to a hospital with major injuries and is currently reported to be in stable condition.
Based on preliminary information, the suspect vehicle is a gray Toyota Camry with front-end damage.
