The Veterans Writing Group of San Diego County is pleased to welcome bestselling author and historian Sara Vladic as a guest speaker at its upcoming meeting.

During the meeting, Vladic will discuss her bestselling work, her research process, and her newest book, “The Dangerous Shore,” which explores the little-known story of an American community during World War II and the challenges they faced on the home front.
The presentation will offer attendees an inside look at historical research, storytelling, publishing, and the importance of preserving the experiences of veterans and their families through the written word.
The Veterans Writing Group welcomes veterans, active-duty personnel, and family members interested in writing, memoirs, fiction, poetry, and storytelling.
