North Coast Church in Vista is known for their community outreach. The need is great right now to serve the homeless and underserved populations that are in severe crisis during this time and
their local food pantries are in GREAT need of non-perishables. NCC asked their members to bring canned food, water, personal needs and household items to support several of their partner organizations, such as Interfaith Community Organization and others on May 2, 2020, at all of their campus locations. The Vista Fire Fighters Association 4107 Charity Committee joined in and donated needed items for the cause.

We visited the Vista Campus at 2405 N Santa Fe Ave. The very organized drop off coordination worked very well as they circled the entire parking lot and approached the drop off point, two lanes at a time, to drop off their items. The staff was very quick to empty over 1100 vehicles full of food and household necessities. Church services have been suspended, however, the church is utilizing live feeds and website videos to reach their ‘shelter at home’ audience every weekend.
