New Cal/OSHA Mask Requirements Released

Cal/OSHA adjusted their emergency regulations for mask wearing in the work place. Normally these adjustments would take 10 days to become effective, however, the Governor has already announced that he will sign an Executive Order making them effective immediately.

The short version of the changes are this:
If an employee is vaccinated, they do NOT need to wear a mask indoors (few exceptions, see FAQ’s).
You should ask via employees if they are vaccinated (via some paper methodology)
You do NOT need to force them to prove they are vaccinated if they say they are
If an unvaccinated employee requests an N95 mask for work, you must provide it
You do NOT have to provide N95’s unless requested
You may ask employees if an N95 is of interest to them – if they decline, document it
Full FAQ’s are here for you to review!
We will have FREE N95’s shortly – stay tuned for more info.

Stay safe, stay in compliance! We don’t want anyone getting sued over any of this!
