Hello, neighbors. Did you realize? Save Oceanside Sand began as a grass-roots organization, formed by O’side locals in 2019. Today, we are a California public benefit nonprofit corporation, focused on community education and outreach.
Working together with local, regional, state, and federal authorities, SOS is dedicated to RESTORING AND PROTECTING Oceanside beaches, including our coastal habitat.
We believe in beach preservation, beach safety, rebuilding our shorelines, and beach access for all. Our current focus is to continue our extensive outreach and education, funding paid internships, our Citizen Science program and much more.
With Oceanside shoreline solutions potentially being a model that can be emulated near and far, we think globally and act locally.
