Mastertech was founded in March of 1995 by George “Lou” Lewis and Rick Sing. Lou was an ASE Master Technician with extensive mechanical experience who specialized in emission repairs and electronic diagnosis. Born and raised in Oceanside, Lou aspired to build a respected highly skilled automotive repair business serving all of the surrounding communities he had come to love. Rick was also an ASE Certified Technician who was employed as an Oceanside Police Officer that owned and operated a part-time auto repair facility. They joined forces and proceeded to build their dream business.
