Horsethief Hops farm donates his entire crop of wet hops annually to partner with a different local brewery in a collaboration that produces a limited edition Wet hops beer to raise funds for a local nonprofit, Urban Surf 4 Kids.
This year, new brew partner, Five Suits Brewery in Vista joined the project. Volunteers harvested the hops and now the beer is ready to launch this Saturday as “The Wetsuit”. Proceeds benefit Urban Surf 4 Kids, a local nonprofit organization that provides surf therapy, mentoring and adult readiness programs to children living in foster care and overcoming trauma.
Beginning Saturday August 29, 32 oz crowlers are available for curbside pick-up. Limited outdoor seating is available and a raffle will be held throughout the day. Donations are welcomed
