Jane Lynch (of Sue Sylvester fame on the popular TV show “Glee”) sang and performed with her friends, Kate Flannery (best known as her portrayal of Meredith on “The Office”) and Tim Davis, in two shows on December 16th. The sentimental Christmas medley of songs was arranged by Tim Davis (one of the industry’s leading vocal arrangers, also of Glee fame) and accompanied by The Tony Guerrero Quintet, a nationally recognized jazz ensemble.
Jane, when opening the show, mentioned the Christmas CD, “A Swinging Little Christmas”, on which the show is based, is number 5 on the Christmas charts and number 13 on the music charts. Jane and friends sang to a packed house in the Center Theater at the Art Center in Escondido.

The show featured wonderful jazz arrangements and perfect harmonies that were interspersed with fun bantering and jokes between the three singers.
After the show, Jane, Tim and Kate graciously greeted the crowd and signed CD’s for everyone. Many pictures were taken and fun was had by all that attended. All in all a lovely Christmas show in one of the most beautiful venues in all of San Diego County.
A short drive from anywhere in North County, the Center is a beautiful unique venue and if you haven’t been to a show or an art exhibit there, you must go and enjoy this North County Gem!
