The Air Force Thunderbirds demonstration team flew over the Tri-City Medical Center in Vista on Friday, May 15, as part of Operation America Strong. The Thunderbirds conducted formation flights over Los Angeles and San Diego in tribute to medical workers and other personnel responding to the coronavirus pandemic.
Barbara Vogelsang, Chief Nurse Executive of Tri-City Medical Center and the staff personnel appreciates the attention from the Air Force Thunderbirds today. This will be the latest in a series of flyovers of major American cities the Thunderbirds, formally known as the U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, have conducted in recent weeks.
