The County of San Diego and City of San Marcos are celebrating the grand opening of 100 new affordable housing units for low-income families. Built in partnership with Affirmed Housing Group, the Alora apartment complex is located at 604 Richmar Avenue and is a mix of single and multi-bedroom units. The County provided $6.25 million for the project from the County’s Innovative Housing Trust Fund. For families who are one crisis away from homelessness, affordable housing is invaluable.
