Starting in February, American Airlines will return to Carlsbad’s McClellan-Palomar Airport after nearly 30 years, offering twice-daily nonstop flights to Phoenix. This new service will enhance convenience for North County residents, eliminating the need to travel to San Diego International or John Wayne Airport. The route, operated by Envoy Air with 76-seat aircraft, will provide one-stop connections across the U.S. and Mexico. This development is expected to improve the quality of life by reducing travel time and boosting the local economy by attracting more visitors to Carlsbad.
