Route 78 Rotary Club is proud to announce MARIACHI Los Camperos will be featured performers at 10th Annual Mariachi Festival, April 7, 2024, at Center for the Arts, Escondido. Pre-concert VIP “Tacos and Tequila” mixer includes tacos and tequila tasting and silent auction from 12 to 2:30pm. Concert is from 3 to 6pm. Especially fitting since all proceeds from Fest are used to support education and charitable programs for children, youth and numerous non-profit organizations in North County and Internationally.
Recent projects supported by the Club are incorporation of Mariachi classes into the curriculum at Rancho Buena Vista And Vista High Schools, as well as, joining with Foundation Mixtecos Unidos, Sunrise Kiwanis Club, Thrivent and Vista Education Foundation in supporting the creation of their first Cross Country Track team at Rancho Buena Vista High School.
